Worship Songs

Used by us when we worship together

Servant King is one of Graham Kendrick’s best known worship songs and captures the essence of Jesus’ kingship was he modelled the essence of Christian character –  not to be served to serve. See Comment for June 7th 2020.

You are my hiding place is a song that we sing in our Sunday meetings. This version comes from Indonesia, a very different church to ours. But it is a beautiful arrangement and beautifully sung. It reminds us that we are part of Gods big world-wide family.

My heart is full of admiration is wonderfully melodic worship song written by David Kendrick. The words are completely God focussed. A great way to start the day is to join in and allow the words to penetrate the soul. It’s one of those songs that will keep returning during the day and help us to keep track.

Faithful one so unchanging is a song that was a favourite of one of our members who sadly died a year ago. (Suggest that you skip the ad. at the beginning unless you are particularly interested.)

I want to serve the purpose of God in my generation is a great worship song. Many songs, quite rightly, focus on appreciating God for what he has done for us. Yet there is more. This song balances things up. It’s about our desire to respond to God by aligning ourselves with his will and serving Him.

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
